Lost Dog
by Jamie
It was about
six months ago when I was helping my Dad clean the garage out because
we were getting ready to move, from our old house in Elk Grove,
CA .
When we were
cleaning the garage out a little dog walked in our garage and crinkled
his muddy little snout and started barking, "Woof! Woof!"
A loud bark
it was. I said, "Dad there's a strange dog in our garage eating
our cat, O. J's food."
My Dad walked
out asking what the dog looked like. I replied" The dog was black
with cute little crop ears and a crop tail. My Dad walked out into
the garage carrying a little bottle of pepper spray, and said, "
I thought you meant it was a big dog."
I said "
No, its not even bigger than our cat." So my dad told me to give
the little mini Doberman Pincher some food and water. After I gave
it some it some food and water the little dog went away. The next
day the little dog come back and stayed. So for a month we took
care of him and we named him Micro. Everyday we checked the paper
for any one who had lost a in Doberman Pincher. Everyday we checked
the paper to see if anyone claimed the mini Doberman Pincher, but
no one claimed him. So we kept checking the paper, but there was
nothing about a mini Doberman Pincher. So then we asked people around
our neighborhood if they ever saw this dog before, but no one had
ever seen the dog before.
My sister then
came over carrying a lot of her things when she walked in the door,
she saw the dog and dropped everything she was carrying to go pet
the dog. Then she took the dog for a walk around the block. The
next day we put up signs and ads in the paper, but still no one
claimed him.
So months passed
that we took care of the little doggy. My Dad then said happily,
"Well I guess we can keep the little miniature black dog. " So now
he lives with us happily ever after and he is very happy that he
has a good home. He is now homely and his name is Micro! Now after
we moved here Micro ran away and we have not seen him since we moved
here. He probably got eaten by a coyote, or a bear.
