The Accident

There I lie tossing and turning on my bed in the middle of the night. I was hardly able too breath. I was wheezing it sounded like nails on a chalkboard. I heard my mom jump out of bed and run down the hallway. She knocked down the door boom!

I screamed, "Ahhhh!" in a whisper.

My mom said in a loud voice, " Chad what is wrong?"

I said in a voice you could barely hear, " I can't breath." Then my mom picked me up and threw me into the car. She floored out of the driveway, and in no time we were doing 90 M.P.H on Main St. Then all of a sudden a car came flying out of nowhere (skrrrrreeeech! BOOM!!!) We rolled about 5 times down the road! My head was hitting against everything (click! Clang! Ding! Dong!)

Then all of a sudden everything went black.

My eyes opened in a very white room, I heard beep, beep, beep. I could see the very clear liquid running through the tube in to my bloodstream. A guy came in and said," Hey bud, you have a severe case of asthma and you are lucky to be alive."

I said, " Where is my mom let me see her."

He said, "No no she is just fine you stay here and get some rest." Then he put some kind of medication into my IV.

Next thing I know I am dreaming again.

I learned a lot from what happened to me, cause you never know when your time is, I mean one minute you could just be standing there minding your own business next minute you could be dead. From that day forward I learned how much I love my mom and how much I mean to her.
