Splash
Mountain
By Ashley
Wow, Can you
believe it, spending Christmas in Disneyland! It took nine hours
to get there.
Well, I was in line for Splash Mountain with my mom, her boyfriend,
Ronnie, his two Kids, Ashley, 12, we call her T because her last
name was Texeira and
they called
me H for my last name, Hans, and his other kid Drew that is nine
years old.
We were so excited
to go on the ride!
I watched a
lot of people go down the big waterfall slide, it looked really
steep.
All of a sudden
I felt this big blanket of fear come over me. I told Ashley "I am
getting
scared, it looks
so steep."
"I know me too."
she told me.
It was a long
wait like 30 to 40 minutes. Finally we got on, I was so freaked
we started going on it and it was a whole bunch of little waterfalls
we went down.
My mom kept
telling me, " There is nothing to be afraid of.
"There was a
whole bunch of fake animals playing instruments, sitting in a chair
and singing songs.
I was grabbing
on to my mom, I was so scared.
Finally we went
up the big hill to get to the big waterfall. I was freaking out
and grabbing tighter on my mom. I was so scared and it felt like
it was at the top of the
Empire State
Building and I was going to jump off and I was going to die at that
instant.
It was taking
a lot time to get up the hill it was cranking. It was going up the
hill very slowly it would stop and then go again and keep clanking.
We finally got to the top going very slowly. Then it started to
drop I couldn't move my mouth. I screamed the whole way down. It
felt like I was dropping a million feet down and my cheeks and my
lips felt like they were getting a face lift in 10 seconds. Then
it was over, we got out and it felt like I had taken the blanket
of fear off and I wanted to go again!
